What's happening with us?

November 2, 2007

To all those who haven't heard from us in a long long time. This is what we have been doing. We moved in September and have been crazy busy remodeling and finishing part of the basement. (Yes! We have a basement, a rare find in St. George.) We love our new house, everything was pink when we moved in, which everyone should know how I feel about that! Everything needed repainting, including the pink ceilings and doors. We are still working on it. There was a lot of wall paper that had to be pulled down and we learned that a lot of it was straight on the sheetrock. Yeah, that meant we got to texture also. Lots of work. The part of the basement we wanted to finish is done and looks great, thanks to many blessings and lots of help from old friends and great neighbors. Thanks EVERYONE who donated time to help us on our quest! I will get pictures up of all the work we are doing and are done with soon. We are getting grass in the backyard tomorrow which will go great with the castle Steven and Chris built the kids. It should be a childs paradise before long!

I am halfway in the pregnancy, Yeah!, 20 more weeks to go. We will be getting the ultrasound soon, sorry to disapoint all those who feel very strong about this, but we are not finding out what we are having. We are waiting until that happy day of delivery. My wonderful doc has given me the option of labor or a C-section. I haven't decided yet but I love knowing it is up to me and not someone else. I will write more later and post some pictures.

What's up girl?? I loved your update and darling christmas card. You sound as busy as our house hold. Moving and remodeling while you are pregnant that's awesome. I highly recommend it!!! (NOT) Honey I just did the same thing if it makes you feel any better. I sold my house in Sandy and let my husband talk me into moving to Park City. For all of you that think that sounds great, I would love to know how many feet of snow you shoveled off your porch this morning? Other than that life is great.
